[[asset:image:45 {"mode":"full","align":""}]]The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) and William G. Baker Jr. Memorial Fund are thrilled to announce the 2021 Baker Artist Awardees. This year, from over 600 portfolios on this website, 36 artists have been awarded prizes of $2500 each.
Thank you to the over 600 artists who created or updated their portfolios for the 2021 Baker Artist Awards season.
Artist portfolios have been replicated for adjudication. Artists who update their portfolios will see these changes reflected on your public-facing portfolio, but new changes will NOT be seen by jurors.

In order to respond to the needs of artists who have been severely impacted by COVID 19, the entire awards process for the 2021 season has been reconfigured.
The $90,000 pool of funding usually reaches six artists annually. This year it will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 to 36 artists.
Knowing that the need is urgent, GBCA will be accelerate the adjudication timeline and distribute the award funds as early as March 2021.For more information on the new, temporary award structure, please click here.
