Many of the paintings posted are from the Stories and Beliefs series, started around 2023-24 and continuing to the present. The imagery of 13th - 16th century European religious iconography has always been important to me. The stories of fire, destruction, and conflict, played out in dramatic and theatrical settings, seems to be the direction that I'm drawn to. Traditional tales: but presented in my own way. Other paintings that are posted pick up on pseudo religious overtones and push them in a more personal direction. And finally, many pieces are simply imagery that floats in my head and feels like it needs an outlet.

For me, all my work is connected because it comes from my life and experiences. At times I'm not sure why I paint, but I do.
