A giant 120ft x 40ft L.E.D. video screen floating in Baltimore's Inner Harbor.  This installation was hand built by Formstone Castle collaborators using over 2km of LED light strips with over 60,000 individual lights protected by clear vinyl tubing and controlled by an elaborate power and software design.  Animations were created by Michael Bowman, Andrew Dixon, Justin Duvall and Kate Haberer. What lies beneath the waves has always been mysterious. In the darkness of night, the mysteries intensify.

This light-painting was designed to suggest an architectural space,  at the head of a staircase.   The sense of space in the image shifts with different color combinations as the colors slowly change.

Showcasing the cherished connections between Druid Hill Park and surrounding neighborhoods, the Arches & Access project illuminated and activated the historic Druid Hill Park Gate at Madison Avenue, Druid Hill Park, and the Rawlings Conservatory with colorful lights, a community parade, and a public party. On the evening of November 3rd, 2019, over three hundred residents, artists, and performers transformed Madison Avenue at Druid Park Lake Drive into a spectacular, roving block party.
Premiering at the 2018 Light City Baltimore festival, Sun Stomp was a solar powered light and interactive audio-visual environment that for eight nights activated McKeldin Square. The monumental scaffolding sculpture featured an interactive projection on one side and an array of sixteen 290 watt solar panels on the other. Electrical energy collected during the day and was stored as chemical energy in a battery bank which provided electricity to a colorful array of LED neon lights illuminating the structure after dark.
Hot sculpted glass, steel, wire, 3D printed plastic, LEDs, custom software, weather sensor 2017 Convergence draws from the building’s environment and the advanced digital & technology development within the UATC. The optical glass elements light up in real time, mapping the wind speed and direction, temperature and humidity.
Pirouette 1.0 is an LED high efficiency lamp designed for home office and commercial applications. It is a playful, yet elegant object that utilizes stacking volumes centered around a dowel that, functions to create a “swivel” system for versatile light placement. It makes use of minimalist shapes and a limited color palette to highlight a simple, yet bold object that emphasizes seductive detail. It is made of hand-turned cylinders and dowels, a single brass cylinder, wooden arm/LED strip, and custom fabric cord. Pirouette 1.0 comes in a walnut/white and white oak/black finish.
