Sweet Charity (Costume & Lighting Designer)

Bernard served as the production designer for this imersive take on Sweet Charity. The production was directed by Harlem Repertory's artistic director, Keith Lee Grant. The costumes were meant to evoke the fashion aesthetic of the 1960's New York City. Through out Charity's journey of love, we bounce in and out of genres of music and dance; with their costumes complimenting eachenvironment. The lighting was designed to give the moody vibe of a gentlemen's club or pool hall.
