About Zoë

Zoë is a visual artist specializing in painting and photography. Born and raised in Baltimore City, her work explores themes of love, loss and resistance, and has been featured in several group shows throughout the United States, including exhibitions at 56 Ludlow, 100 Bogart, 222 Bowery, ArtHelix Gallery, The Alchemy of Art, Clover’s Fine Art Gallery, Maryland Art Place, and Point Green Studios. Bmore: Then Is Now

This series was born when I returned to Baltimore in 2021 and wanted to reconnecting with spaces and places that were part of my childhood, having grown up in the city. I also include new spaces where I have found comfort and have heightened my sense of feeling at home here once again. However, in an age of tough economics, more and more of these types of spaces are closing. This series is an homage to those that still stand and their indelible impact on my life.
