Zoë's profile
Zoë is a visual artist specializing in painting and photography. Born and raised in Baltimore City, her work explores themes of love, loss and resistance, and has been featured in several group shows throughout the United States, including exhibitions at 56 Ludlow, 100 Bogart, 222 Bowery, ArtHelix Gallery, The Alchemy of Art, Clover’s Fine Art Gallery, Maryland Art Place, and Point Green Studios. Comprising four solo shows -- including three in New York City highlighting her conceptual-documentary photo series, her work has been featured on feature shoot, the Stuttering Foundation, and ArtBean Coffee. Zoë is a certified Arts in Health specialist and consults with healthcare and cultural organizations throughout Baltimore and beyond, aiming to amplify community and individual well-being through the visual arts while dismantling longstanding inequities in the field. She speaks publicly at conferences and panels on the importance of arts availability for community-building and reducing trauma, and has been teaching art to diverse audiences since 2016.
