Improvisation of the masses

A live concert is a time to explore uncharted territory, both as a solo performing artist and as a collaborator. I engage the audience to join me in creating new music on the spot. The audience gives ideas of color, images, stories etc and I weave them into new "soundscapes". From Chinese New Year, Alien alligators, Italians in Brazil to the Twin Towers falling on 911 (and of course Mexican squirrels doing what they do best) Of course I also explore my own material of solo piano, which is always changing with every performance.
