My name is Tia an Author and poet commonly known as Serenity Tia in the poetry community. I am creating a documentary capturing and highlighting the Culture of poetry in Baltimore City that would feature many talented artists such as Black Chakra, lady Brion, Tyce, Kennith something of charm city slams and the list goes on. My Vision is to shine and give an overdue spotlight and recognition to an overlooked culture that has so much to offer to Baltimore City. It’s not just about poetry it will show the hard work and dedication the Poetry community has put into building themselves into what they are today. I want to put a light on how these artists come together supporting and uplifting one another. I want to show that there is another amazing and powerful side of Baltimore to see.
