Jenna's profile
I'm a Baltimore-based writer and filmmaker whose passion for people and places has crossed into the cooperative avenue of cinema. I studied film and mass communication at Towson University, and since then I've worked in a variety of media locales including production management/coordination, client photography/videography, art modeling, and more.
My debut short film Concealer has been shown in numerous film festivals across the mid-Atlantic, including screenings at the Parkway Theatre and Creative Alliance. My current directorial project The Peace Your Valor Won is in post-production and is slated to be released as part of a feature-length horror anthology inspired by Maryland folklore.
Aside from film, I'm also involved in poetry. My self-published zine School Nights was featured in Gallery 220's dual exhibition "Whispers of Longing" in Havre de Grace, and my poem "Names" was part of the gallery's previous year's exhibition "A Celebration of Women's History Month." I was a prelim judge at the 2024 Womxn of the World Poetry Slam, I served on the committee to select Maryland's poet laureate, and I peddle my writings at open mics, slams, bookstores, and free little libraries all across the state.
