Personal art created with a 3d program, using unconventional improvised workflows. NO AI! These videos are intended for large scale projection in a gallery or museum. After 20 years of making abstract animations with 3d CGI, I have stripped things down to the most basic visual elements- simply a line. But even a line can be very interesting when it is animated. I have found unique ways to create abstract animation without using artificial intelligence.

I make drawings and large, site specific installations which are also drawings. The former ink, water media, and collage works often begin as anecdotal moments either recorded or observed as I explore the city around me, and frequently evolve to enfold idiosyncratic personal iconography that brings light to the psychological context of my representations. The latter are motivated by similar concerns.

For these paintings I've continued to explore cartoon shape and figure. Using shaped panels and more traditional rectangular panels I've also continued to investigate how the construct can effect the design concept. "LOL" is comprised of over 120 separate shaped paintings while "Mr. Mustache" and "Long, Long" are done on rectangular panels.
