"swallowtail" was created by Timothy Nohe for the August 2013 issue of The Light Ekphrastic, edited by Jenny O'Grady. The publication inspires work by introducing artists to writers, striking resonances between works. In this case I was responding to poetry by Tim Galligan. The relationships the poet described were marked by dissolution and isolation, and bound by domestic space.
