About TIM

Baltimore County
Tim Thompson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1955. He received a BFA from the University of Wisconsin 1977, He studied at Cambridge University where he Apprenticed at Henry Moore's studio, Muchadum England 1977 and a MFA from the University of Arizona 1982.
 
Moved to Baltimore, Md in 1983 to teach part time at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has received numerous awards and grants including the Maryland State Arts Council Artists Fellowship and Multiple Maryland… more
