Taj Poscé, a Philadelphia native now based in Baltimore, MD, earned his BFA from the Tyler School of Arts. Notably, he was nominated and selected for the prestigious Yale Norfolk Summer Residency during his time at Tyler. Further enriching his artistic journey, he secured a study abroad scholarship to work in a studio in Rome, Italy, and has garnered several visual arts awards along the way. Baltimore Club Series

This project is about nostalgia and experience. When I was younger during the myspace era, music was being shared across this platform, so although I was a young Philly teen, I was well aware of the Jersey Club and Baltimore Club music scenes. When I moved to Baltimore I was able to experience a Baltimore Club scene during the after-parties of the Station North Art Walk. The lights, sounds and energy of people dancing brought these compositions to my mind.
