About Michael

Baltimore City

Michael Weiss is a Baltimore based-artist who uses traditional materials and methods to create contemporary images containing oblique, but not opaque content. He is currently a full-time faculty member in the First Year Experience, Drawing, General Fine Arts, and , Painting Departments at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he also served as the Associate Dean of Fine Arts for over a decade.
