Bio
Patti Tronolone is an artist and poet currently living in Baltimore. Before returning to her hometown in 2017, she spent 8 years living by the sea in New England and then 13 in the desert of Northern New Mexico. Her luminous landscapes stand on their own as an experience of these pilgrimages and as an inner accounting of the heart’s power. Collaged Drawings

Over the last year I have been drawing with pencil, pastel and charcoal, objects from nature, cutting them out and then incorporating them into larger pieces. In this way i find the aesthetic and meaning of each piece becomes known as the pieces are assembled and made permanent. I usually start with drawing a central part of the piece and then work from there.
