In Case of Pandemic Break Glass
This is a personal take on the advent of the Covid 19 vaccines which, in my opinion, released humankind from the ravages of the pandemic. I was disappointed to see that this remedy became a political argument... to the point where some people lost their lives believing the medicine to be ineffective.

Throne of Sporks
Plastic dinner wear was used, en masse, to coat a chair form. It is a commentary on the excessive use of plastic ware and asks the question: what happens after it's initial use? Most of the ware were reused after use; others were obtained for design purposes. A solution? Use wooden forms much like we experienced in Europe recently. Yes, it costs a little more, but the environment is worth it. This also does not promote the petroleum market.

No Comment #2
A multitude of plastic, white dinnerware was shaped to create a large spoon. Resting in the cup of the spoon is a bowling ball, transformed into the planet Earth. The continents are defined by small bits of plastic. The intent is to convey the result of single use consumerism and raise awareness that plastic never biologically breaks down; it just gets smaller.

I Am A Light Switch
From an HVAC conversion company stockyard, discarded components were hand selected. The sculpture promotes the idea of using alternate sources of energy, in this case, the sun, represented by the small solar panel on top of the electrical meter. The copper tubing is simply a visual device; this is not a functional piece, but rather a symbol of possibilities. A light switch on the back symbolizes that it is time to turn on this solution.
