A trip to Egypt was the result of work that depicted the Pyramid. The images used are personal and allude to the horoscope. The country inspired work that included pyramid shapes using drawing and symbols. 9ftx3ftx3ft. The work is fragile and the images stitched on silk.

Egypt was one of the countries that resulted in several works later as I was inspired by the land and the Pyramids, culture etc. I used many of the symbols in my work over the years making a series of sculptures and 2D work.

Several visits were to India in the 1990s was the stimulus for this work. Text using print and collage. Size 20"x24"

Pyramides 3ftx3ftx3ft each with drawings and 3D images i.e. fish and serpent. The icons refer to personal narratives that I used at that time.

A large Installation that resulted from my visit to Egypt. The work invites the viewer to enter and experience this narrow space. The translucent fabric and symbols are images I worked on for several years later. Size 20ftx3ftx3ft.

This Installation relates to the human body and its changes re:women going through the menopause. The fertility symbol is evident in this piece. The Cowrie Shell. Symbol of fertility and genitals.

These personal symbols evolved from images that resulted from visits to Egypt. The work is light printed and stitched on fine silk. The circles are 3ft in circumference.

Installation Mixed Media. The colours of Mexico influenced this work which is made of handmade paper and is sculptural -relief. Symbols of the sun, moon and skies.

A symbol that I used often and this hand uses some of the designs used in the East.Middle East. The work is stitched entirely on heavy fabric.

A handmade felt work using text and collage. Zero Tolerance can be applied to many issues depending on where it is posted.
