Exploration of Self
This is a series of self-portraits as I explore my identity. I have taken past self-portraits and added them into my current work as a way to embrace the experiences of younger versions of me who have built my present identity. This series developed during a time of deep self-exploration where I worked to connect traumas from my past and the person who lived through them as building blocks to my current self.

Interstellar Space
This series was inspired by images from the Hubble Telescope. I zoomed in on small sections of the images to see the colors and patterns. It followed a series I was working on that explored skies. I needed space in my life and I was moving the horizon line lower and lower in the composition. Finally, I removed it all together and explored the vastness of the realm without borders.

Cocoonthis section of the image reminded me of a spirit and a cocoon.

This series is all about celebrating the strength, beauty, and joy of the LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to get funding for this series so that I can gift the models with not only a portrait but also a reception during which they can be honored and given a place to share their stories.
