Celestial Twist

In this series, I have departed from the tradition of color field painting and entered a realm of more sharp meetings of color and lines. I begin on a black surface in order to create space, which is beyond the world of usual sense perception, and then enter directly into a spiritual space of forms, colors, lines and texture. I express geometrical ideas as a grid and then juxtapose elements and forms by cutting stencils to obtain a hard-edge meeting of colors and shapes. I am suggesting a world of chaos and never-ending possibilities that paradoxically is still carefully constructed and planned.
