Flora #Three 16 x 23 Monoprint 2022Flora #Three is a 16 x 23 photopolymer intaglio print on Rives BFK paper. It was created using two polymer plates. One inked in blue and pressed onto paper. The second plate has the vibrant colors below the surface while a layer of blue was rolled across the surface. Sheet size is 22 x 30.

Changing ChannelsChanging Channels is a 8 x 10 Solar Plate Intaglio print on Rives BFK paper. It was created using two plates. One plate was inked with black below the surface and rolled with blue over the top and pressed onto paper. The second plate contains the colors which were applied below the surface. The second plate was pressed on top of the first to create the final image. Sheet size is 11 x 13.

BIO
A high school student in Washington, DC during the late 1970’s,
Duane began his creative journey at the Urban Journalism
Workshop under Lew Berry. He graduated from Boston University
in 1982 with a degree in Journalism. Working briefly as a
photojournalist, he then had a career as a photographer’s
assistant in Boston and New York City, until establishing Duane
