About Imani

Imani Muleyyar is an award-winning multimedia storyteller, educator, and arts advocate. He began his arts career by producing socially conscious music to combat negative stereotypes in the black community during the 1990s. This led Imani to pursue a profession in audio engineering, studying at American University in Washington, DC and opening multiple recording studios to promote positive messages in impoverished neighborhoods throughout Baltimore.
