I am continueally refining the connection between my painting and photography, which is concerned with varieties of beauty -- physical, endangered, natural, symbolic, human-made, accidental, intentional, damaged, forgotten, overlooked beauty -- and the ways that it compels us to look beyond our own self-interest, thus compelling us toward justice.
