Seth Sawyers writes fiction and creative nonfiction. His writing has appeared in Southeast Review, Salon, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Sports Illustrated, The Rumpus, The Millions, River Teeth, Fourth Genre, Quarterly West, and elsewhere. He has been awarded scholarships and residencies to the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, VCCA, and Writers@Work, and was a recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. He lives in Baltimore, with his wife, the artist Magan Ruthke
