Von Vargas is an award winning hip-hop artist, multi faceted music producer, songwriter, and DJ. He recently developed and produced the 28 Days of Black Futures Campaign, which raised over $50K through a collaborative effort of 28 music artists, benefiting community organizations. With the campaign Von is a winner of the 2024 Gold Hermes Creative Award, and 2024 MarComs Gold Award. The Baker Artist Award Winner also shares a Stellar Award Nomination.
Von is currently preparing to release a new body of work titled "Cocked Crowns” slated for late Feb. 2025. He’s also composed music for major projects, including Peacock TV's Original Series True Stories, music marketing campaigns, and sync placements for ESPN, CBS Sports, CNN, HBO/Vice TV, BET, United Healthcare, and the American Cancer Society, among others. His work has been featured in national and international media outlets, and he recently produced an audio piece that is now a permanent exhibit at Baltimore’s Cylburn Nature Education Center.
A two-time National Trustee of the Recording Academy (known for the GRAMMY Awards), Von is also a community curator for The Digilogue, a global platform connecting and educating music creatives worldwide. As co-owner of Creative Development Studios, Von continues to serve corporate, community, and educational clients through his musical talents.
