currie's profile

Currie Lee is a photographer, stylist, and filmmaker based in Baltimore, MD. She holds a BFA in Film & Video Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work examines disillusionment with the female identity, using aesthetics as a language to question and redefine personal and cultural narratives.

Currently, she is developing The Haze, a quiet horror film that explores a narcissism and a codependent relationship through an allegorical framework. She premiered the short film version of The Haze at the 2025 New/Next Film Festival at the historic Charles Theatre.

In addition to filmmaking, Currie curates Standing Ovation, a vintage collection shaped by her affinity for storytelling through fashion. She continues to explore the intersections of film, photography, and styling, crafting work shaped by how these practices inform and enrich one another.
