Currie Lee is a photographer based in Baltimore City, MD. She was born in Baltimore but grew up in South West Florida before moving back to Baltimore in her teens. Inspired by her surroundings, she’s drawn from the lush romance of Baltimore and the bleak, bright atmosphere of Florida in her work.
In 2013, she graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Film & Video Arts. Since graduating, she has established herself as a fashion and portrait photographer.
Currie Lee’s photography draws from narrative storytelling to create lived-in, intimate imagery featuring richly vibrant tones and youthful energy. Behind each photograph is a process that that connects the the subject, the clothes, the environment, and the photographer.
In addition to photography, Currie works as a stylist.
