Cheryl Fair is a Baltimore-based multidisciplinary artist whose work includes painting, photography, film, and writing, and is unified by a life-long engagement with the fanciful, mythic, and surreal. Her visual practice explores emotional endurance, vulnerability, and transformation through symbolic abstraction, atmospheric landscapes, and performative photographic portraiture that draws on archetype and ritual.
She holds a BA in Visual Arts (Film/Video) from UMBC and a JD with an intellectual property concentration from the University of Baltimore, and previously served as Executive Director of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
