Anne Meadows is a Maryland artist currently working in encaustic painting. She is formally trained in a variety of art disciplines including painting, printmaking, ceramics, and photography. She started her studies at Virginia Commonwealth University and after moving to Maryland continued taking art classes at Towson University and MICA. She later graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a masters degree in art education. After a career teaching art in the Maryland public school system she is now retired and maintains a studio practice in Monkton. She shows and sells her work and has collectors in the US and UK.
