Robyn Marie Holl was born in Virginia (US), in 1980. She was raised in Maryland, where she began to paint and draw in her spare time. In high school she developed her talent, became president of the National Art Honor Society, was selected for the Gifted and Talented Saturday art program, and was finally chosen from the graduating seniors to represent her school with a slide presentation for the Howard County Board of Education. She proceeded to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY in 2003. After graduation she lived in Southeastern Europe, in Mostar, BiH. While there, she volunteered in the Film Klub (Mladi Most) and the Youth Cultural Center, "Abrasevic". She has also assisted with the art workshops supported by Cradle in the Pavorotti Music Center as well as led short term workshops in the Humanitarian Organization, Club Novi Most. She held four solo exhibits in Bosnia and Herzegovina and upon returning to the states, exhibited again in Brooklyn, NY. She has finished a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Arts at MICA, and as well has completed her Master of Fine Arts at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2016. Robyn currently works at Art Works Now in Hyattsville MD.
