Kyle Yearwood is a Baltimore-based visual artist whose surreal composites blend photography, video, visual effects, and 3D design to explore themes of self-love, transformation, and inner liberation. A graduate of Morgan State University’s filmmaking program, he now serves as an adjunct professor and Production Coordinator in the university’s Screenwriting & Animation department, mentoring students in storytelling and creative technology. He also teaches youth media with the Media Rhythm Institute, investing in the next generation of Baltimore creatives. Kyle’s work has been exhibited nationally—including at the National Black Theatre, Museum of the African Diaspora, Library Street Collective, and the American Visionary Art Museum—and featured by the Maryland Film Festival and The Baltimore Sun. Kyle has also found major success as a lead animator for documentaries such as: Smithsonian Channel's "Afrofuturism: The Origin Story" and NMAAHC's "gOD Talk". His practice is rooted in personal growth and community engagement, using art as a tool for empowerment and dialogue.
