Amber Daniels stands as a leader in the dance community, skillfully integrating creativity with community advocacy. Her diverse educational background and professional achievements have positioned her as a transformative force in the arts, reshaping perceptions and expanding the reach of dance. Amber's academic journey began at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she earned an Associate of Arts in Business/Dance. This foundation paved the way for her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Jacksonville University and culminated with a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Maryland at College Park. Her performance career is distinguished by significant roles with Jacksonville Dance Theatre, where she contributed as a dancer, choreographer, and community outreach coordinator.
In recognition of her innovative approach to arts management, Amber received the BCAN Grant for Small Arts Business from the Baltimore Creative Acceleration Network in 2024. Her impactful was further acknowledged in 2023 with the Baltimore Free Fall award and the Creativity Grant from the Maryland Arts Council. She has served as Program Coordinator for DeVos Arts Management Institute, and many other leadership positions. Since 2019, Amber has been a lecturer at UMD and American University. As President of the Board of Directors for Jacksonville Dance Theatre, Amber plays a vital role in steering the organization towards inclusivity and artistic excellence. Her involvement in advisory boards and panels, such as those for the Maryland Arts Council, highlights her dedication to service and engagement with the broader dance community. Currently, Amber is the Director of the Baltimore based dance company, The B&B Collective and the Founder/ Director of Beer and Ballet, LLC (located in three states across the US).
