Sideworld is an art collective with it's three central members (Julia Cooke, Lilith Videt Weeks, and Isaac Lucy) based in Baltimore, MD. The collective seeks to hold community based events in the Baltimore City area that allows local artists to showcase their works and personally connect with new and existing audiences. Sideworld aims to tie two sects of the Baltimore art scene together in a tangible way through free, open, easily accessible, social events and spaces where creative people can meet and connect, and where attendees can enjoy films and art made by locals. In a time where art and artist spaces are being infringed upon by government overreach and corporate interests, they are against gatekeeping, censorship, and pretentiousness.
