Anna's profile
Anna BOGH was born in Moscow and has lived in the United States for over 15 years. Growing up in a major cultural capital, she was immersed in an environment shaped by museums, theater, classical education, and the rhythm of a city full of contradictions and history. This foundation nurtured her visual sensitivity and lifelong love for symbolism, texture, and emotional nuance.
It was in the U.S., however, that Anna truly evolved as an artist—building her own creative path through intuition, experimentation, and consistent daily practice. Her multidisciplinary work blends acrylic painting, oil pastel, digital drawing, and 3D modeling. She explores emotional states, surreal symbolism, and psychological transformation through a personal visual language she calls ThrowPillowScape.
Her art is both deeply personal and broadly resonant, inviting viewers into poetic, dreamlike spaces where softness becomes strength and memory takes form. Anna exhibits nationally and is actively involved in the Maryland/HoCo art community.
