Lilian is a ceramicist, illustrator, nerd, and cat mom living in Baltimore. As a home potter, she uses the medium of ceramics as a surface for her whimsical, floral, and delicate illustrations. She draws inspiration from beloved stories and nature, seeking to bring the joy and whimsy of fandoms and fantasy worlds into everyday life.

Throughout her life, Lilian explored and delighted in many different art mediums, including watercolors, embroidery, surface design, and digital illustration. Ceramics bring together her passion for 3D art forms with a love for whimsical illustrations. Specializing in decorative ceramics like vases and jars, Lilian shares her work through her small business called The Nerdware Store.

Through her experiences with anxiety and depression, Lilian particularly emphasizes messages of grief, hope, and joy, in her work. She seeks to create small joys in a world that can feel full of darkness.
