Jasmine Washington, "JW" (b. 1996, Baltimore, MD) is a Film Photographer and Visual Artist based in Baltimore.

Her work explores the intersection of portraiture and art history, characterized by raw authenticity and deliberate distortion.
Through her art, Jasmine illuminates the overlooked and amplifies the voices of those often unseen or unheard.
Her practice is driven by a passion for creating evocative imagery, she is also committed to advocating for change and expanding accessibility for artists and creatives in her hometown.

Jasmine’s work is deeply personal and intentional, honoring her life’s experiences - both the joys and challenges - while reflecting her family’s history, her creative evolution and identity as a Black and Queer Woman.

Beyond her own artistic pursuits, Jasmine lends her expertise as a freelance and volunteer installation maven, supporting exhibition curation, installation and takedown.
