Mark Armbruster (he/them) (born 1970, lives and works in Baltimore, MD. USA) is a Lens based mixed-media artist who creates art in reaction to climate change and human’s effects on the landscape. Mark received his B.F.A. in photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and an MS in Design and Technology from the University of Maryland. His work features large scale photographs that are meticulously hand painted with dots, lines and complex patterns. He has exhibited his photography in several solo and numerous group shows in galleries, arts institutions and publications including: POV 2025, Sohn Fine Art, Lenox MA; Manifest Gallery, Cincinatti OH; CURRENTS 2024, PhotoNOLA exhibition, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans, LA; LACP, Las Angeles, CA; Fresh 2024 Klompching Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Center for Fine Art Photography, Center Forward 2024, Fort Collins, CO; The Print Center, 98th Annual, Philadelphia, PA; and many more.
