Ringo's profile

Ringo Lisko, (she/they, b. 1998) is an artist originally from Gallup, NM. They earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture and drawing from the University of Alabama in 2020, and Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art’s Rinehart School of Sculpture in 2024. 

Lisko is currently a resident artist in Birmingham Sculpture's 2026 Visiting Artist Program (Birmingham, AL). They have exhibited nationally and internationally, with upcoming exhibitions at The Phillips Collection (Washington, DC) and Harrison Galleries (Tuscaloosa, AL). Other recent exhibitions include Stuttering is Echoing, The Compound, Baltimore, MD; Disjunction, MakingSpace Bmore, Baltimore, MD; A Gorgeous Whole I Never Was, solo exhibition at AUTOMAT Collective, Philadelphia, PA; the 2023 National Conference of Contemporary Cast Iron Art and Practices (NCCCIAP) Biennial Exhibition; WorthMore/WorthLess, K.L.8 Exhibition Space, Brussels, Belgium; and the Feminist Biennial, Women Made Gallery, Chicago, IL.

Lisko currently lives and works in Baltimore, MD. Alongside their practice, they are the founding director of spare room gallery, an artist-run collaborative in Baltimore.
