Christopher kolpeace Johnson , born 1994 in columbia, sc passionately explores his black southern culture and ancestral influences through liberating anatomical gestured portraits, rapidly creating art in both studio and performance settings, all infused with a contemporary graffiti voice. Now residing in baltimore, after earning his MFA, his performance art embodies the impactful & harsh realities he experienced growing up black in the south.
