QueenEarth is a storyteller, singer/songwriter, and visual artist. Her coursework and portfolio includes writing and composition, curriculum and instruction, and arts integration. She also shares her gifts as a performer, educator, speaker, visual artist, and event producer. She has released several albums of original lyrical and instrumental music, solo and with bandmates and open mic performers in the Baltimore music community. Her genres range from soul and country to hip hop and gospel.
In Web3/ digital art (https://objkt.com/@queenearth) QueenEarth is most proud of her text to image/generative and illustrative/collage art that tell stories about Black American history. She relates to the movement of the African Diaspora, via the Middle Passage and Reconstruction through Jim Crow and early 20th century American history. With a gift for creating communities, she created and facilitated onboarding for new and emerging digital artists, many Black, LGBTQ+, and international digital and traditional artists.
Missy holds an MA in Liberal Studies from Loyola University of Maryland and a MA in Instructional Systems Development from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her certificates in the Pedagogy of Online Learning and Culturally Responsive Teaching provide a unique skill set for the demands of 21st century classroom and conversations. She consults with arts and culture organizations, conferences, and faith based communities with creative business services. Culture and creativity merge in every facet of her art and professional work.
