Ari Pluznik is a singer-songwriter, musician, and Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher who practices in the Insight tradition. Ari weaves music and mindfulness practice together in his performances as a soloist and with his band, Ari and the Buffalo Kings, with a new album In the All Together just released in March 2024. Ari also is a member of Baltimore math rock project Tidal Shifts , with a new EP slated for 2025. For the last 6 years, Ari has worked with Micah E. Wood to produce a new Hanukkah song each year, having just released A Hanukkah EP: 6th Night Edition with country ballad Home for Hanukkah .

In addition to songwriting and producing music, Ari is an active Mindfulness and Insight Meditation Teacher who offers a weekly  mindfulness meditation classes in addition to daylong retreats and one-on-one mindfulness coaching and guided embodied inquiry. 

Ari is currently a student at John Hopkins' Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he is concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences in Public Health with a focus on health communication and cultivating well-being on the population level through mindfulness trainings and integrating the arts into the health ecosystem.
