Edgar Kunz is the author of two poetry collections: Fixer (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2023), a New York Times Editors' Choice Book, and Tap Out (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2019), which the Washington Post called "a gritty, insightful debut." His poems and essays appear widely, including in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Oxford American, Poetry Magazine, American Poetry Review, and Ploughshares. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s MFA program and has received support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Academy of American Poets, MacDowell, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and Stanford University, where he was a Wallace Stegner Fellow. Edgar lives in Baltimore City and teaches at Goucher College.
