Ariston's profile
Ariston Jacks artwork intends to chronicle and explore legacy through visually dense episodes of Afro-futuristic narratives. He was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. After graduating high school he served his country in the U.S. Navy. Following his tour of military service Jacks completed a B.S. Degree from the School of Arts and Sciences at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and later earned a M.A. Degree in painting from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Ariston has an international exhibition record and was most recently featured in multiple group and solo exhibitions in Miami, Savanna, Los Angeles, Seattle and Baltimore. His works are included in several museum, foundation, corporate and private collections throughout the United States, the UK, Norway, France and South Africa.
