Ariston's profile
Ariston Jacks artwork intends to chronicle and explore legacy through visually dense episodes of Afro-futuristic narratives. He was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and after the age of 9 spent each summer in St. Louis MO, and Chicago IL. After graduating high school he went off to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. After completing military service Jacks completed a B.S. Degree from the School of Arts and Sciences at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and later earned a M.A. Degree in painting from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Ariston has an international exhibition record and was most recently featured in multiple group and solo exhibitions in Miami, Savanna, Los Angeles, Seattle and Baltimore. His works are included in several museum, foundation, corporate and private collections throughout America, UK, Norway, France and South Africa.
