David has been a lifetime resident in Baltimore. He is a self taught wood sculptor. He made the transition from cabinetmaker to sculpture in the early 1970's He currently works in the graphics department of a printing company in Baltimore. David works a night shift, and spends the daylight producing art.

Statement:
While studying life drawing, my focus was drawn to the aesthetic qualities found in the use of line. A single drawn line can express gesture and movement, direction and depth on a flat surface. Over the years, I strive to convey these qualities in my drawings.… more
