"Doctor Q" (a work-in-progress) is a feature documentary portrait of Johns Hopkins brain surgeon Alfredo Quinones, who came to the United States from Mexico as an illegal immigrant teenager.  The unscripted film chronicles his work as a surgeon, his efforts to maintain a meaningful relationship with his country of origin, and his struggle to balance notariety and family.

Baltimore. 

This project consists of photos of my trip to  Northern Vancouver Island, Argentina,  Chile and Panama. It also included a visit to the "end of the world" - Cape Horn! 

These photos were taken in Istanbul, Turkey, and environs.

Here are photos from my trip to Ecuador and the fabled Galapagos Islands.

Here are some photos from my trip to the South of India. I visited the cities of Banglor, Mysore, Hassan, Kabini, Cochin (a seaport town), Alleppey, and on the Arabian Sea, Kovalam. I also stayed a night at the Kabini River Lodge.

Here is category  Urban #2, within the Urban Project.  You will find photos from urban scenes from Baltimore & environs and a few foreign sites as well. For example, two are from Portugal and two are from the streets of  the "Big Easy," New Orleans. The term "Urban," takes in the waterways usually found in a city, like Baltimore, for example our splendid Inner Harbor.
