Hung Out to Dry is a series of sculptures that explore fatigue, deterioration, and blemish.  Crafts and woodworking trades can be easily defined as a practical knowledge,  a knowledge that is learned firsthand from close observation. However, this series of objects suggests that craft pedagogy has begun to deteriorate in its inabilities to catch up to our social climate, creating an impractical knowledge.
The installation entitled "Get Lo" was a combination of varied carnivalesque practices that I have been exploring outside of traditional float making.  The focus of the work is more narrowly addressing the play between spectator and participant and how the cycle of playing those roles is made possible to repeat annually. The newer aspects of artmaking I have been working with are Flambeaux torches, photography, video, and immersive reality video.

The Supreme Clientele is a 9 piece judicial juggernaut that uses white pine tricycles to run these mean streets and dispense justice to us all with their new Conservative majority.  The gang's ringleader is torn between the two raging factions as they pull him toward their own agendas.  The suspense is gripping and the satire ripe.
Human Icons
These paintings honor and make visible moments of transformation within the people they depict.
Most are made of multiple panels from old paintings, reconfigured and reworked. Joining  pieces in new ways mirrors how we continually upgrade versions of ourselves.  Some 'older' areas remain visible in their entirety, other areas are largely obscured. The figures emerge from a long, multi-layered history.
My fascination with seasonal changes led to the creation of my Spiritual interpretations of the Four Seasons...Winter,Spring ,Summer and Fall.
I completed the final painting in 2019 and look forward to exhibiting them together someday.
