The Figure
The body is the container of our being. To study the human form is to archeologically mine the embodiment of all mankind. Collage is a way to liberate the essence. Reworking, reshaping, reconfiguring and refining. Searching for the most potent structure. Here the process becomes a conundrum through which to uncover, reveal and be newly informed.

The Road
"The long and winding road that leads to your door.
Will never disappear.
I've seen that road before it always leads me here.
Leads me to your door."
The Beatles
"This much is true.
That God blessed the broken road.
That lead me straight to you."

Containers
Containers are vessels of holding.
Someday they will be the shards of our archeological exploration,
presented as a puzzle to unravel.
They hold the truth.

Still-Life
Still - life is to take that which is everyday and explore its essence. A contemplation that roots the present. Allowing that moment to fully exist is to connect to the innate wisdom of creativity and intuition.
Collage is a way of liberating the essential elements, working towards some truth of nature shaped by a cellular experience rather than an external form.

Love and Grief
To love and grieve is to attain direct access to an internal and ever present refuge that exists inside of and despite all polarities.
To love and grieve is to arrive at the built-in abstract quality of nature.
