I am a retired university biology instructor with a passion for painting and visual art. My most recent body of work was produced digitally, inspired by my travels and work in Brazil. This art focuses on indigenous communities that have been silenced, displaced and oppressed over history. Using found (licensed) images and simple software, I try to give voice to those who have been silenced. Using color and layering, I seek to represent these vibrant communities in a new and unique way.
