The 2nd full length album release under the Aligning Minds project; released at the end of January 2013. Recorded, produced and edited throughout 2012, it really brought to fruition the sound we'd been honing for quite a while. The concept of the album is one of genuine giving, release and extending oneself to the world through creativity, love, and purpose.

"Both emotionally stirring and provocative, "My Heart Is Love" is the second LP from East-Coast collaborative brainchild Aligning Minds. The nine track album, due for release January 29th via Gravitas Recordings, is a finely tuned venture evoking imagery of an ethereal future-city. While no two tracks sound the same, Aligning Minds does a beautiful job stitching together this sundry collection of songs seamlessly and in an engaging way. Perfectly blended sections of classic electro and intricate breaks merge with vaporous psychedelic synth-scapes, causing genre lines to blur as the countless influences wash through.

Although the album starts off moody with the ambient "Streaming Live", things quickly shift gears when "Ether Perfect" ushers in a heavy dose of modulating sub. Meticulous sound design marks the melancholy title track, but the tension repeatedly resolves with each new tier the piece traverses. "A Noble Truth" and "In The Wake of Forever" both opt for more of a hip hop pace, trading agile shuffles for an abiding percussive stroke. The textured saw-waves that make up the bassline in "Bright Flames" add to an overall nebulous vibe, later cemented with haunting, stuttering strings. It also featured guest vocals by D.C. hip hop mc Born Infinite, and international drum n ' bass vocalist Robert Manos. The album was extremely well received, holding a number 4 spot on the Bandcamp electronic music charts for weeks after the release, and gained the status on many blogs and review sites as one of the most visionary and innovative electronic music albums of 2013.

We received press from a number of publications, blogs, radio stations and websites. Among them was an interview conducted by local writer/activist Robin Gunkel for Daniel Pinchbeck's Reality Sandwich - "a magazine of ideas for the transformational community." (included)

The album garnered interest around the world throughout 2013 and led to a significant number of performances on the supporting 'My Heart is Love" tour.
