Sky Fox (2020)

Sky Fox (2020)
The Fox as a symbol for harnessing creativity. Creativity itself being represented by fire and the Sun.

Sloth Saint (2020)

Sloth Saint (2020)
The Sloth, the animal that takes the "chill" mentality to new heights. Saintly god-tier heights. Watching a sloth's slow deliberate moves is calming to me. I wonder if they know something about the universe that us humans don't.

Hyena Misunderstood (2020)

Hyena Misunderstood (2020)
Hyenas are one of the most misunderstood animals on the planet. But they're just different. They're not our definition of majestic and strong. And since hyenas don't stack up to our definitions of beauty and behavior, they actually thrive. Unlike a lot of African animals they are NOT on the endangered species list.

Grizzly Keystone (2020)

Grizzly KeyStone (2020)
The great Grizzly bear of the northwest is truly PART OF the northwest. They are a keystone species to the land. The fish carcasses they leave behind nourish the soil and support the forest overall.

Lynne Margeaux's picture
I draw animals. Sometimes as  portraits. Sometimes in a  fantastic way. The natural world is a magical place.--- For most of my life I have lived in central Maryland. I began to draw in childhood like a lot of artists using self-taught skills. Later I received a more formal education at the Pennsylvania State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Arts(2002). I also earned a Masters of Fine Art degree in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art & Design... more
