2400 Sq Ft. Exterior Mural 

The mural depicts two portraits juxtaposed with each other and uses floriographic references to symbolize self love, the love of those that support us, and honoring them both.

Located at Port and Ashland Ave. in the Milton- Montford Neighborhood of Baltimore City. An ode to the memory of Ms. Connie Green, a pillar of this community, who lived, raised her grandson, and transitioned in this home.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the dawning of hip-hop. Located on the south facade of Shake & Bake Family Fun Center on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore city. The design features vignettes depicting the elements of early hip-hop, that have since become globally inspirational and impactful, including: MCing, DJing, turntablism, graffiti, breakdance, fashion and culture.

Located at 7172 Ogontz Ave in Philadelphia, PA. The piece embodies the history of arts, culture of growth and vision of the future in the neighborhood of West Oak Lane, where I was raised!

2018

Mural to bring new life to the Children’s Library at the Orleans branch of Enoch Pratt. 

Six 10x12ft Interior Murals commissioned by University of Maryland Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit. The artworks adorn the walls of patient rooms and common areas of the Behavioral Health Unit to enhance the environment where patients receive care. 

Located at 1601 Calhoun Street Baltimore. Painted with the assistance of 10 youth apprentices from Baltimore YouthWorks employment program coordinated by Jubilee Arts.

Sandtown/Penn North is the neighborhood at the center of 2015’s protests and unrest following the death of Freddie Gray. The design incorporates ideas from residents of Sandtown collected during interviews and community canvassing sessions. On the left, a portrait of Jaila, one of our youth apprentices, and Sandtown resident. She is holding a daffodil, one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring, and a symbol of rebirth. Images of the old Pennsylvania Avenue merging with the new and a family walking from the past to the present. Above the South African Protea flower a symbol of hope and perseverance. On the far right is the Gladiolas flower (named after the Gladiators of Ancient Rome) a symbol of strength and integrity alongside Butterfly milkweed, blue cardinal and cinnamon fern, plants native to Maryland.

2021

2650 Sq Ft

Mural to brighten the neighborhood of Eager Park. The mural features teachers, students, families and a local veteran of Eager Park. The center panel of the background is inspired by the classic Baltimore Marble “stoop”. The outer panels are patterns based on the circle of life symbol, and the Hela Cells of Henrietta Lacks who was once a resident of Eager Park. Each flower bordering the mural has a symbolic meaning expressed through floriography, and inspired by the victory gardens and “arrabber” tradition of old Eager Park.

Recipient of the 2018 Lots Alive Grant, each hand embodying a symbolic tool for creating community: determination, education, growth, Creativity, Peace and building. Lots Alive supports the creation of temporary outdoor artworks sited on vacant lots along Park Heights.  Lots Alive aims to breathe life into underutilized vacant spaces through creative interventions.

Part 2 of Public art activation for the 2018 Lots Alive Grant. . The carnival style “cutouts” engage people of all ages but especially youth, to dream of what their future could be.
